Orientation for New Students: JSPM makes an effort to introduce new students to university life and make them feel comfortable. Often, the first activity in which students participate is orientation. This could be a simple meeting, an all-day seminar or even a night event. The orientation programs are designed to encourage new students to meet and interact with academic deans, Guardian Faculty Member-GFM and fellow students. Student Counseling: College can be stressful, and JSPM offers access to student counseling services. These services may include short-term counseling, assistance in crisis situations, programming on topics relevant to university students and references to community support services.
